Why would you want to send a link to a specific part of a YouTube video?

There are many reasons as to why you would want to do this, in our example we choose a short clip but what if the clip you wanted to send was 15 minutes long. It would be tiresome for the receiver to search for the moment you mentioned. Another reason would be if the video covered multiple topics but you are only interested in one.
